Catalina Island Avalon Engagement Photos

 

Karla and John engagement photo session at Catalina Island Avalon getaway was one of the most fun photography experiences. I felt like I was on a mini-vacation. We all met up at Catalina Express in San Pedro early in the morning, that was the first time I actually met the couple in person. On our way there, we got to chat about how their love story began. It was through the DM. That is how they first started talking thanks to Instagram.

We got to Catalina Island early in the morning the first thing we all did is have some breakfast before we start the engagement photographs. John rented a Golf cart to help us explore around Catalina Avalon faster.

The first stop was the Green Pleasure Pier. We walked around and got some cute engagement romantic photographs there. Second stop we headed out to Descanso Beach, where we got the beautiful Casino in the background, we walked around and had some fun.

The last stop was the top favorite, we went to Buena Vista Point Scenic Overlook on top of the hill. We got there just on time to see the sunset and that is how we finished up their engagement photos, with John getting in on one knee and proposing to Karla one more time.
